The SICK KTS‑WB41141142 (also marketed as part of KTS Core series) is a contrast / mark detection sensor engineered for use in printing, packaging, and labeling lines. It detects small contrasts (e.g. registration marks, print marks) on moving webs, labels, or sheets. Because print contrast can vary, the sensor uses an RGB LED light source (470 nm, 525 nm, 625 nm) to dynamically adapt and optimize detection.
With a maximum sensing distance of 13 mm, the KTS‑WB41141142 is capable of detecting contrast at moderate distances. Its output is push-pull, supporting both NPN and PNP (LO / DO) switching modes.
